Role Description As a Mobile App Developer Intern at Durowave, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of mobile applications while collaborating with mentors and team members in a fully remote setting. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning, practical project exposure, and growth in a supportive, technology-driven environment.

What you will do:

• Assist in developing, testing, and deploying user-friendly mobile applications for Android and/or iOS platforms.
• Implement mobile UI/UX designs, integrate RESTful APIs, troubleshoot bugs, and improve overall app performance.
• Write clean, well-documented code and actively participate in code reviews.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, seamless mobile experiences.

Qualifications:

• Foundational skills in Mobile App Development and familiarity with cross-platform frameworks (such as Flutter or React Native) or native development (Kotlin/Java for Android, Swift for iOS).
• Basic understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and adapting designs for various screen sizes and devices.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment and document work clearly.
• A willingness to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience or interest in mobile animations, local databases (e.g., SQLite, Firebase), or the App Store/Play Store deployment process.

Education: Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is highly beneficial.
