Cybersecurity Intern

Perpova Developers is looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Intern who is interested in gaining practical experience in cybersecurity, web security, infrastructure protection, vulnerability assessment, and security best practices.

What You’ll Work On

  • Assist with security assessments of websites, web applications, and internal systems
  • Identify, document, and help remediate vulnerabilities
  • Support WordPress and web-server security hardening
  • Review access controls, authentication, permissions, and security configurations
  • Assist with log analysis, security monitoring, and incident documentation
  • Research emerging vulnerabilities, threats, and defensive security practices
  • Help improve internal cybersecurity policies, checklists, and procedures
  • Work alongside our development and infrastructure teams to promote secure development practices

What We’re Looking For

  • Undergraduate, recent graduate, or self-learner in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, Networking, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of networking, Linux, web technologies, and cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Familiarity with concepts such as OWASP Top 10, vulnerability assessment, authentication, firewalls, and access control
  • Basic knowledge of tools such as Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar security tools is an advantage
  • Strong willingness to learn, investigate problems, and document findings clearly
  • Responsible and ethical approach to cybersecurity
