Role Description

As a Web Development Intern at Durowave, you will support the development and maintenance of web applications while collaborating with mentors and team members in a fully remote setting. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning, practical project exposure, and growth in a supportive, technology-driven environment.

What you will do:

  • Assist with both front-end and back-end tasks, including implementing UI, integrating APIs, fixing bugs, and improving performance.
  • Write clean, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
  • Help optimize websites for usability, responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Qualifications:

  • Foundational skills in Front-End Development, Web Design, and modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next js like frameworks ).
  • Basic knowledge or experience in Back-End Development (server-side languages, frameworks, or databases).
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment and document work clearly.
  • A willingness to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail.
  • Bonus: Experience or interest in UI/UX, performance optimization, or responsive design.
  • Education: Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is highly beneficial.
