Role Description

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Intern at Durowave, you will support the testing and quality control of our software applications while collaborating with mentors and team members in a fully remote setting. This internship is designed to provide hands-on learning, practical project exposure, and growth in a supportive, technology-driven environment.

What you will do:

• Assist in creating, executing, and maintaining manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using issue-tracking systems.
• Perform thorough regression and exploratory testing when bugs are resolved.
• Work closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality digital experiences and understand project requirements.

Qualifications:

• Foundational knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing processes, and software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Basic understanding of both manual and automated testing concepts.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana).
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively in a remote team environment and document defects clearly.
• A willingness to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Experience or interest in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress), API testing (e.g., Postman), or version control systems like Git.
• Education: Enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field is highly beneficial.
