Associate – QA Automation Engineer

About this role

We are seeking a motivated Associate – QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with hands-on expertise in Playwright. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications through both manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product teams to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to test planning and estimation activities.
  • Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports.
    Support CI/CD testing processes and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (Mandatory).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and database validation.
  • Familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
