We are on the lookout for a talented Senior SQL Developer to join our team on a permanent, hybrid basis, supporting a reputed US company.

What You Will Be Doing 

• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Develop and maintain complex T-SQL queries, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports.
• Analyze and optimize database performance, including query tuning, indexing, and execution plans.
• Design and implement scalable database solutions based on business and application requirements.
• Collaborate with software developers, architects, business analysts, and other stakeholders on database and data integration solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex database, data integration, and reporting issues.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using SSIS.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports using SSRS.
• Perform database development and administration activities while ensuring data integrity, security, and reliability.
• Review existing database solutions and recommend improvements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Participate in database design reviews, code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers where required.
• Follow established coding standards, database development best practices, and security guidelines.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What Are We Looking For? 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer, Database Developer, or in a similar capacity.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Strong experience developing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
• Hands-on experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Strong understanding of database design, normalization, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SQL Server database administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience working in a Windows/WinTel environment, including Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Practical experience developing SQL Server-based applications using T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, and XML.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
