Senior Tech Lead / Associate Architect

About this role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Tech Lead / Associate Architect to work remotely for a position based in the United States, supporting a reputed US client. In this role, you will play a key part in the assessment, modernization, and migration of enterprise platforms working as a hands-on technical lead who can engage confidently with technical stakeholders, contribute to business-facing discussions, and drive execution from analysis through to production delivery.

What You Bring

  • 6–9 years of hands-on experience delivering enterprise-grade software systems, ideally with exposure to platform modernization or migration initiatives.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly in a complex enterprise environment and produce actionable technical findings and improvement recommendations.
  • 2+ years of experience as a tech lead or in a similar leadership capacity — leading delivery, guiding engineers, and coordinating work across a team.
  • Experience working alongside distributed, internal, or outsourced teams, with sound collaboration and stakeholder-management instincts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, effective in technical design reviews and comfortable presenting to business stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API design, and cloud migration strategies.
  • Ability to work across business, IT, and vendor stakeholders and help drive alignment.
  • Experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments.

Preferred / Nice to Have

  • Experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight management platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
  • Experience with DevOps toolchains and version control workflows (Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
  • Knowledge of enterprise security standards and data compliance requirements.
