Wisdom RecruitmentS is exclusively recruiting a visionary and results-driven Chief Marketing Officer for one of the leading IT firms in Sri Lanka.

This is a full-time, onsite leadership pacosition based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Our client is looking for a strategic powerhouse capable of driving global market penetration and brand growth within the dynamic Information Technology and Services sector.

The Role

As CMO, you will serve as a proactive leader, developing and executing innovative marketing strategies that align with business objectives and foster a dominant market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to accelerate business expansion and market share.
  • Global Branding: Lead brand development to ensure consistent messaging and identity across all international platforms.
  • Full-Spectrum Marketing: Oversee digital marketing, content, PR, and demand generation.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends.
  • Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Senior Leadership on integrated go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive marketing leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior managerial role specifically within the Information Technology sector.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in executing impactful, large-scale marketing strategies.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of digital marketing, brand management, demand generation, and marketing analytics/technologies.

Added Advantages:

  • Experience in multinational or regional capacities.
  • Professional certifications in Marketing or Digital Analytics.
  • Proficiency with CRM and Automation tools (HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • A strong professional network within the IT industry and experience in international market entry.
