Project Manager – Banking Applications

Job Description

Asia Pacific Technology Systems (Pvt) Ltd (APTS) is expanding its Application Business and looking for an experienced Project Manager – Banking Applications to join our team in Colombo.

This is an exciting opportunity for a project professional with strong experience in banking and financial services applications to lead projects from planning through successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of banking application projects
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks and issues
• Ensure quality, compliance, testing, and inspection of deliverables
• Coordinate logistics, dependencies, and project resources
• Lead deployment, user training, and post-implementation support
• Provide regular project updates to management and clients

What We’re Looking For

• Proven project management experience in banking or financial services
• Strong planning, coordination, expediting, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong attention to quality, compliance, and deadlines
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification will be an advantage
