Business Analyst / Project Manager

Job Description

We're looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join Thenex on a contract basis for an international product.

This is primarily a Business Analysis role, with project coordination responsibilities alongside it. You'll work closely with the client and development team to understand business needs, define requirements, map end-to-end processes, support delivery, and ensure we're building the right product.

You'll also be involved in client discussions, product demos, UAT and project coordination throughout the development lifecycle.

What You'll Work On

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements
• Understand and map complex end-to-end customer and business workflows
• Conduct stakeholder discussions and identify gaps, dependencies and ambiguities
• Create user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and process flows
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable specifications for development
• Work closely with developers and QA throughout implementation
• Prepare and conduct product / feature demos
• Gather and translate client feedback into actionable requirements
• Support UAT, validation and go-live readiness
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog
• Track requirements, dependencies, deliverables and project timelines
• Coordinate with developers, QA, clients and other stakeholders
• Help ensure requirements around payments, notifications, integrations, security and auditability are clearly defined and validated

What You'll Bring

• 2+ years of professional experience, primarily in Business Analysis
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders
• Experience writing user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria
• Experience analysing and documenting complex business processes and workflows
• Experience working with software development and QA teams
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with UAT, requirement validation and product demos
• Ability to understand business rules, system dependencies and integrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Good technical understanding and ability to communicate effectively with developers
• Strong documentation and organisational skills
• Good command of English
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Experience in any of the following would be an advantage:

• Healthcare, medical services, travel or other service-based platforms
• CRM, case management or customer portal systems
• Payment, booking or financial workflows
• Systems involving multiple external stakeholders or suppliers
• Data privacy, security, audit trails or compliance-sensitive systems
• API integrations and third-party systems
• Experience working with international clients or distributed teams
