QA Engineer

Thenex Global Remote • Full-time

We're looking for a QA Engineer to join Thenex on a contract basis for an international product.

At Thenex, quality isn't something that happens at the end of development.

You'll be involved from requirements through release understanding the product, identifying risks, designing test scenarios, testing APIs and user journeys, investigating defects and working closely with developers to prevent problems from repeating.

What You'll Work On

Functional and regression testing
End-to-end user journey testing
API testing and API automation
Web automation
Integration testing
UI and cross-browser testing
Role and permission testing
Payment and transaction workflows
Test case and test scenario design
Defect reporting and verification
UAT and release validation
Requirement and acceptance-criteria review
Identifying edge cases and potential risks

What You'll Bring

2+ years of experience in Software QA / Quality Engineering
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
Experience with functional and regression testing
Experience creating test cases and test scenarios
API testing experience, preferably with Postman
Experience testing web applications
Experience with defect tracking and reporting
Basic SQL/database knowledge
Understanding of SDLC and Agile development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills
UI automation / test automation experience is a strong advantage.
