Senior Lead System Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead System Engineer to join our team in Colombo.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure
• Manage servers, virtualization, storage, backup, and high-availability environments
• Handle critical technical issues and provide escalation-level support
• Lead and mentor system engineering teams
• Drive infrastructure projects, technical roadmaps, and continuous improvements
• Ensure strong security, performance, reliability, and documentation

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in Systems Engineering, Architecture, and System Administration
• Hands-on expertise in servers, operating systems, virtualization, and storage
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience leading technical teams and projects
• Good understanding of networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Microsoft, VMware, Veeam, Dell, HP, Cisco, Linux, or similar certifications will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
