As a Playwright Automation Engineer at Haulmatic, you will play a key role in building and maintaining scalable automated testing frameworks to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our platforms across web and mobile applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites using Playwright.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to understand requirements and define automation testing strategies.
  • Develop automated end-to-end, regression, smoke, and API test suites for Web and Mobile applications.
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery and rapid releases.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in JIRA, while working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Analyse test execution results, troubleshoot failures, and You improve test stability and 
  • Create and maintain reusand testing environments
  • Drive automation best prcontribute to continuous quality engineering initiatives.
  • Plan and prioritise automation tasks effectively to meet delivery timelines in a fast-paced Agile environment.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in QA Automation Engineering or Software Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and modern JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation frameworks. 
  • Experience testing Web applications and APIs in complex enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of automation framework architecture, test design patterns, and scalable automation practices.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab Cl, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST-based automation testing.
  • Experience using JIRA (or similar tools) for defect management and test tracking.

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with performance or load testing tools.
  • Experience working with Docker-based test environments.
  • Exposure to cloud testing platforms and cross-browser testing solutions.
  • Previous experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or fleet management/TMS domains.
  • Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr, or Testiny.
