Lead Automation Engineer – Business Process Automation

Are you an experienced automation professional ready to lead innovative enterprise automation solutions?

N-able is looking for a Lead Automation Engineer to drive the design and development of workflow and decision automation solutions, while leading a team of automation developers and exploring the potential of Agentic AI.

In this role, you will work with enterprise automation technologies such as IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM), IBM watsonx Orchestrate, CrewAI, and LangGraph to build scalable workflows, intelligent decision systems, and seamless integrations.

What we’re looking for:

  • 7–10 years of hands-on IT experience, primarily in workflow and decision automation.
  • Strong expertise in IBM BAW or equivalent platforms such as Pega, Appian, or Camunda.
  • Experience in business rules, system integrations, database design, and workflow development.
  • Proven leadership skills in mentoring developers and establishing development best practices.
  • A strong interest in integrating Agentic AI into enterprise automation solutions.
