Associate QA Engineer

Kernel Encode is looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Associate QA Engineer to join our growing team.

As an Associate QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our web, mobile, and desktop applications through manual testing and proper QA practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications
  • Understand business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
  • Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, and test data
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and UI testing
  • Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools such as Jira
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to resolve issues
  • Follow established QA processes, standards, and best practices
  • Continuously learn new testing techniques, tools, and technologies

Requirements:

  • BSc Degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or any other related field is a must
  • 1–2 years of experience in the software testing process
  • Hands-on experience in manual software testing
  • Previous experience in financial application testing will be an added advantage
  • Good communication and analytical skills
