Tech Lead – Network Security

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a leading systems integrator, we provide cutting-edge solutions to a diverse range of customers. The ideal candidate will specialize in Firewalls, particularly Fortinet Firewalls, and SD-WAN technologies, ensuring robust and secure network infrastructure for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Architect, design & implement network solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • System Integration: Integrate network systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimized performance.
  • Firewall Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet Firewalls, ensuring the security and integrity of customer networks.
  • SD-WAN Deployment: Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance network reliability and efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Provide expert-level support to customers, resolving complex network issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and issues for future reference and auditing purposes.
  • Customer Interaction: Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide tailored network solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and trends, recommending improvements and best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on Firewalls and SD- WAN technologies.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Technical Skills: Expertise in Fortinet Firewalls, SD- WAN technologies, network design, and troubleshooting.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with customers and team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Certifications: Fortinet NSE 7 or higher. CCIE will be an added advantage.
  • Experience with System Integrators: Previous experience working for a systems integrator or in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Project Management: Experience managing network projects from conception to completion.
  • Security Expertise: Deep understanding of network security principles and practices.
