Systems Engineer - Infra

Position Overview:

As a Systems Engineer, ensure the smoothfunctioning of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and related serviceswhile driving automation, systemreliability, and securitycompliance. Also, plays a key role in supporting infrastructure projects, collaborating with teams, and ensuring the stability and performance of IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Infrastructure & System Management

  • Manage and maintain WindowsServer, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policyacross on-prem and cloud environments.
  • Perform Active Directory and domain upgrades, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal downtime.
  • Plan and executedomain migration and consolidation projects.
  • Support server patching,system hardening, and backup management activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues related to servers, networks, and user systems.

2. Cloud Administration & Optimization

  • Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with internalteams to defineand execute cloudtechnology roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintainautomation scripts to streamline cloud resource management and deployment.
  • Implement security best practices and assist in developing disasterrecovery and businesscontinuity strategies.

3. Technical Support & Collaboration

  • Provide advancedtechnical support to users and systems both on-prem and in the cloud.
  • Work closely with vendors and internal teams to deliveriT infrastructure solutions and project outcomes. 
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in hybrid infrastructure management.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in systems engineering or infrastructure management.
  • 1+ years of experience in Azure environments.
  • Virtualization platforms (eg, VMware, Hyper-V) and database systems (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL) administration will be considered as an added advantage.
  • Practical experience in monitoring systems,security best practices, backup solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer (AZ-700)
  • Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator (AZ-800/801)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop (AZ-140)
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA 200-301)
