About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Frontend Engineer who is passionate about building modern, scalable, and user-friendly web applications.

The ideal candidate should have 1+ years of hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, with a strong understanding of modern frontend development practices. You will work closely with backend engineers, QA engineers, UI/UX designers, and product stakeholders to build high-quality web applications and deliver seamless user experiences.

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of professional experience in Frontend Development
  • Strong experience with React.js
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Good understanding of React components, hooks, state management, and component lifecycle
  • Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications
  • Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern CSS practices
  • Experience integrating REST APIs into frontend applications
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization flows
  • Familiarity with JSON and asynchronous programming
  • Good understanding of frontend application architecture and reusable components
  • Experience with Git and modern software development workflows
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices
  • Ability to understand technical requirements and convert them into functional frontend features
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Frontend & Technical Skills

  • Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or similar is an advantage

  • Understanding of Next.js Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation (SSG), and API routes is an advantage
  • Understanding of frontend performance optimization is an advantage
  • Familiarity with frontend testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Cypress is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of Docker is an advantage
  • Understanding of CI/CD workflows is an advantage
  • Familiarity with cloud-based applications such as AWS is an advantage
  • Basic understanding of backend technologies such as Node.js or Spring Boot is a plus
  • Experience working with microservices-based applications is a plus

What You'll Do

  • Develop and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js
  • Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components
  • Convert UI/UX designs and technical requirements into functional interfaces
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and backend services
  • Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
  • Work with application state, forms, authentication, and API data
  • Identify and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues
  • Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate and consume APIs effectively
  • Work closely with QA engineers to ensure high-quality and reliable releases
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
  • Participate in sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Contribute to improving frontend architecture, development practices, and performance
  • Support release and deployment validation
  • Stay updated with modern frontend technologies and best practices
