Zeawis Ltd is hiring on behalf of an international technology client for an experienced Tech Lead – Frontend (React.js / Vue.js).

Position Details

  • Position: Tech Lead – Frontend
  • Location: Sri Lanka / India (Remote / Hybrid)
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Working Hours: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (SL/IST)
  • Salary:USD 1,800 – 2,300 per month (Based on experience and technical expertise)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the frontend engineering team while remaining hands-on with development.
  • Develop modern web applications using React.js and/or Vue.js.
  • Build scalable, reusable frontend architectures and component libraries.
  • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs.
  • Optimize application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and security.
  • Review code, mentor developers, and establish engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams.
  • Utilize AI-powered development tools for code generation, testing, documentation, debugging, and refactoring while ensuring high code quality and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional frontend development experience.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring frontend engineering teams.
  • Strong expertise in React.js and/or Vue.js.
  • Excellent knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Design, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with Redux, Context API, Vuex, or Pinia.
  • Hands-on experience with Vite, Webpack, npm, and Yarn.
  • Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture and modern engineering practices.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools and the ability to review and validate AI-generated code.
