Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the end-to-end recruitment process, allowing you to develop practical HR skills while working closely with experienced recruiters.
Key Responsibilities
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases.
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Conduct initial phone screening interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain and update the recruitment tracker and candidate database.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Assist in preparing job advertisements and posting vacancies.
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Ensure accurate documentation and recruitment records.
- Assist the HR team with other recruitment and administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Good communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and build a career in Human Resources.
Value-Added Qualifications
- A qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be considered a strong advantage.
