HR Intern - Talent Acquisition

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Talent Acquisition team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the end-to-end recruitment process, allowing you to develop practical HR skills while working closely with experienced recruiters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, social media, and internal databases.
  • Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial phone screening interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain and update the recruitment tracker and candidate database.
  • Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Assist in preparing job advertisements and posting vacancies.
  • Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and recruitment records.
  • Assist the HR team with other recruitment and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Good communication skills in English and Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn and build a career in Human Resources.

Value-Added Qualifications

  • A qualification from the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) will be considered a strong advantage.
