Qualifications

  • Minimum of an advanced diploma or equivalent in Computer Science/Information Systems / Information Technology. 
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
  • Based in Western Province, but willing to travel within Sri Lanka.
  • Having experience in deployment/support/ management for mainstream industry solutions will be added advantage. (Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, Checkpoint, Ruckus, Citrix, etc,)
  • Excellent knowledge of Firewall/IPS/WAF and Monitoring tools.
  • Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP - based services.
  • Excellent knowledge of audio-visual based equipments.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and monitoring all installed network appliances, systems, and related infrastructure of customers site (cloud and on-premise).
  • Communicate with manufactures and suppliers for select suitable product and service packages,
  • Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining ICT -related equipment's,
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other ICT and system problems.
  • Keeping up to date with IT security standards and threats development.
  • Participate in other projects/tasks as assigned.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving software, hardware, network, and Audiovisual problems
  • Attend minor breakdowns at client sites
  • Should be able to read and interpret technical documentation related to the requirements.
  • Having Knowledge about AV products will be added advantage.
  • Filling & Comparing the tender specifications.
