Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / NVQ 7 in IT, Computer Science, or a related field from a reputed university.
• Hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel framework is a must.
• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field.
• Experience with MySQL database design and queries.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful webservices and APIs.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and web analytics tools.
• Working knowledge of Cloudflare WAF / CDN and website security hardening
• Based in Western Province, but willing to travel within Sri Lanka.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement required changes to assigned websites.
• Maintain source code in a neat, retrievable manner with proper backups.
• Write and maintain webservices and APIs as required.
• Maintain and update the built-in Content Management System (CMS).
• Perform database maintenance and integrate with third-party applications.
• Monitor analytics and implement changes to improve traffic and navigation.
• Develop and maintain SEO strategy to keep sites ranked for key search terms.
• Ensure websites are secured with enterprise-grade WAFS and kept up to date.
• Ensure 99.9% uptime and fast page load times (2-3 seconds).
• Provide escalation support for issues beyond onsite staff capability.
• Continuously monitor systems and propose improvements.
