QA Automation Lead / Release Manager

Role Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Lead / Release Manager who can build QA standards, automation frameworks, regression test suites, release gates, and production validation for AWS-based systems using Go backend APIs and React frontend applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build QA strategy, test standards, and release quality process
  • Create test plans, test cases, regression suites, and release checklists
  • Build and maintain API and UI automation frameworks
  • Lead web, API, backend, and performance testing
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage bug triage, QA reports, UAT, release approval, and production validation
  • Define release gates for Go API services and React frontend applications
  • Train junior QA members and improve QA execution quality

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years QA / SQA / Test Automation experience
  • Experience leading QA teams or managing release quality
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and UI automation
  • Experience with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JMeter, k6, or similar
  • Experience building automation frameworks from scratch
  • Experience integrating tests into CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or ArgoCD
  • Strong understanding of release gates, regression testing, smoke testing, and production validation
  • Ability to test API failure cases, duplicate requests, permission issues, and data consistency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience testing Go backend APIs and React frontend applications
  • AWS-based testing environment experience
  • Payment, fintech, gaming, SaaS, or transaction-heavy system QA experience
  • Performance testing experience with JMeter or k6
  • Docker/Kubernetes test environment exposure
  • Experience managing release calendars across multiple products
