About the Opportunity

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator & Digital Marketing Intern to support the marketing activities of a growing kids' e-commerce business.

This is a great opportunity for an undergraduate or fresh graduate interested in social media, digital marketing, video production and AI-powered content creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Produce promotional videos, Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts and product demonstrations.
  • Design creative social media posts, banners, flyers and advertisements.
  • Create engaging marketing content in both Sinhala and English.
  • Use AI tools to generate videos, images, voiceovers and promotional content.
  • Manage social media pages and maintain a regular content calendar.
  • Plan and execute social media marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • Promote the e-commerce website, products and special offers.
  • Assist with Facebook and Instagram advertising campaigns.
  • Monitor social media engagement, website traffic and campaign performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently following or completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Mass Communication, Multimedia, Graphic Design, Business Management, IT or a related field.
  • Good communication and content-writing skills in Sinhala and English.
  • Creative thinking and an interest in social media trends.
  • Basic understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
  • Willingness to learn, experiment and work with AI-powered tools.
  • Fresh graduates and undergraduates are encouraged to apply. Previous experience is not mandatory.

Preferred Tools & Skills

Experience or familiarity with the following tools will be an advantage:

  • AI Video: Google Flow, Runway ML, Kling AI, Sora.
  • Graphic Design: Canva, Canva AI, Adobe Photoshop.
  • Video Editing: CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • AI Content: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, ElevenLabs.
  • Marketing: Meta Business Suite, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics.
