About the Opportunity

Join EverestX as an E-commerce & WhatsApp Sales Intern and gain hands-on experience working on a real e-commerce project for one of our clients — a kids' e-commerce business specialising in children's products and toys.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in sales, customer service, online retail, and e-commerce operations. Training will be provided, so prior experience with ERP systems is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle WhatsApp Customer Enquiries: Respond to customer questions, follow up with potential customers, and convert enquiries into orders.
• Manage Orders in ERP: Record customer orders in the ERP system and coordinate with inventory and delivery teams.
• Run SMS & WhatsApp Marketing Campaigns: Prepare and execute campaigns to promote children's products, toys, and special offers.
• Design & Run Promotional Programs: Plan and coordinate discounts, seasonal promotions, and sales campaigns to increase customer engagement and sales.
• Coordinate Deliveries: Work with delivery providers and customers to ensure orders are delivered smoothly.

What We're Looking For

• Completed O/L, A/L, or equivalent qualifications.
• Good communication skills in Sinhala (primary) and English.
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn and operate an ERP system after training.
• An interest in e-commerce, sales, customer service, and online shopping.
• A positive attitude, responsibility, and willingness to learn.
