We are looking for a creative, confident, and enthusiastic Content Creator to join Team Portal. You will create engaging content for social media, appear in videos, communicate with audiences, and manage Portal's social media presence. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating videos, presenting ideas, communicating in multiple languages, and helping a brand grow through social media.

⚠️ Before You Apply:

This is a full time position for someone who can create engaging content and communicate confidently in Sinhala, Tamil, and English. You should be comfortable appearing in videos, developing creative ideas, and managing social media accounts.

What You’ll Do

  • Create engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Speak in Sinhala, Tamil, and English in videos and promotional content.
  • Develop creative ideas, write scripts, and appear in videos.
  • Record and edit videos, reels, and photographs.
  • Write captions and promotional messages in all three languages.
  • Manage Portal’s social media accounts, including planning, scheduling, and publishing content.
  • Respond to comments and messages and engage with followers.
  • Monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
  • Create content to promote Portal, attract buyers, and encourage sellers to join.
  • Follow Portal’s brand guidelines and meet content deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ability to speak Sinhala, Tamil, and English confidently.
  • Good reading and writing skills in these languages.
  • Confidence in front of a camera.
  • Creativity and an interest in social media trends.
  • Basic video recording and editing skills.
  • Understanding of social media management and audience engagement.
  • Good communication, time management, and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and work with the team.

Added Advantages

Experience with the following is helpful but not required:

  • Creating content for social media or businesses.
  • Video editing tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Design tools such as Canva.
  • Managing social media accounts and content calendars.
  • Social media analytics and performance reporting.
  • A portfolio of previously created content.
