Senior Software Architect – Carbon Accounting & Reporting Platform

Job Description

Are you an experienced Software Architect or Technical Lead ready to take ownership of building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions? iTelaSoft is looking for a Senior Software Architect with 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in React, TypeScript, Node.js, AWS, RESTful APIs, distributed systems, and CI/CD.

What You'll Do

• Take ownership of the architecture and end-to-end delivery of the platform.
• Design scalable, secure, and high-performance applications and distributed systems.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, enforce best practices, and drive technical excellence.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and product teams to define vision and deliver business value.
• Ensure solutions support compliance, regulatory requirements and sustainability reporting standards.

What we’re looking for:

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering
• Previous experience as a Software Architect / Technical Lead
• Strong hands-on experience with React, TypeScript & Node.js
• Expertise in scalable application architectures & distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of software security & application performance optimization
• Experience with reporting platforms, BI solutions & data pipelines
• Experience with compliance/regulated reporting environments is an added advantage
• Strong communication, client & stakeholder management skills
• High ownership, accountability and commitment to delivering impactful solutions
