We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic IT Technician Intern to join our team. This is a paid internship designed for individuals who are passionate about technology and eager to gain practical experience in computer hardware, networking, servers, and IT support.

You will work alongside experienced IT professionals and gain exposure to real-world IT environments while developing valuable technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and IT equipment
  • Support installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and system maintenance
  • Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, and network connectivity issues
  • Support Active Directory user management and password resets
  • Assist with Windows Server and Linux Server administration tasks
  • Help maintain IT asset records, support tickets, and technical documentation
  • Perform hardware upgrades, driver installations, and preventive maintenance
  • Support backup procedures, antivirus management, and cybersecurity practices
  • Participate in network cabling, cable testing, and infrastructure-related tasks
  • Provide end-user technical support and escalate complex issues when required

Requirements

  • Following or completed a Diploma, Certificate, NVQ, HND, or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and Wi-Fi
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Added Advantages

  • Knowledge of VMware, ESXi, Active Directory, Windows Server, or Linux Server
  • Familiarity with MySQL, Nginx, Apache, or web hosting concepts
  • Basic knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and structured cabling
  • Possession of a valid motorcycle riding license
