About the Role

Residue Solutions (Pvt) Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated AI Engineer to join our growing technology team. The successful candidate will design, develop, integrate, and maintain intelligent solutions using machine learning, generative AI, natural language processing, and modern AI frameworks. You will collaborate with software engineers and product teams to transform business requirements into reliable, scalable, and production-ready AI-powered applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming knowledge in Python.
  • Good understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing concepts.
  • Experience with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, LangChain, or Hugging Face.

  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, databases, and cloud platforms.
  • Ability to clean, analyse, and prepare structured and unstructured data.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Previous AI project experience or a strong project portfolio is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy AI and machine-learning solutions.
  • Build generative AI applications, intelligent assistants, and automation tools.
  • Integrate AI models and third-party AI services into web and enterprise applications.
  • Prepare datasets and perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering.
  • Evaluate and improve model accuracy, reliability, performance, and security.
  • Develop RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
  • Create and maintain APIs for AI-powered features.
  • Monitor deployed models and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation for AI systems and experiments.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry practices.
