Technical Lead – Full-Stack Engineering

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable web applications using Next.js, React.js and Node.js. 

This is not a coordination-only role. The Technical Lead will own technical execution, make architecture and implementation decisions, contribute directly to critical areas of the codebase, guide the engineering team and work closely with client stakeholders. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Own solution architecture and end-to-end technical delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into solution designs, API contracts, data flows and implementation plans.
  • Define application architecture, coding standards, reusable patterns and engineering practices.
  • Make technical decisions covering frontend, backend, integrations, security, performance, scalability and maintainability.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and non-functional requirements early.
  • Build responsive, accessible and high-performing interfaces using React.js and Next.js.
  • Design secure, scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js.
  • Contribute directly to complex features and critical areas of the codebase.
  • Conduct design and code reviews and provide constructive technical guidance.
  • Lead client discussions, requirement clarifications, solution walkthroughs and delivery updates.
  • Break down requirements, support estimation and guide frontend, backend and full-stack engineers.
  • Resolve technical blockers, monitor delivery risks and mentor engineers.

  • Next.js, React.js, Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Modern React patterns, state management and component architecture
  • Server-side rendering, static generation, routing and frontend performance
  • RESTful APIs and backend service development
  • Authentication, authorization, RBAC, API security and secure coding
  • Relational and NoSQL databases, data modelling and caching
  • Third-party platform and external API integrations
  • Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing and code-quality controls
  • Cloud-based application deployment
  • Microservices, modular monoliths and event-driven integration
  • Queues, caching and background processing
  • Solution-design and code reviews
  • Agile delivery with distributed and multicultural teams
  • Strong client-facing and technical leadership capabilities
