Lead Data Analyst - Global Data Team

Core Responsibilities

  • Own and run validation pipelines for financial and firmographic data from multiple vendors and databases
  • Acquire and create new datasets by extracting and processing data from varied sources (websites, APIs, unstructured documents) and building and maintaining automated pipelines that reduce manual data collection
  • Automate business functions by working with cross-functional teams to design and deliver domain-specific automation solutions that leverage large language models (LLMs) where they add real value
  • Communicate findings and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3-4 years of experience in data analytics, data operations, or a related field
  • Experience in a financial services firm or hands-on experience with financial data is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field
  • A degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar discipline or a professional qualification, such as CFA, ACCA, or CIMA (completed or in progress), is preferred
  • Proven experience working with structured and unstructured data across multiple sources
  • Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar) and data retrieval techniques such as web scraping

Desired Skills

  • Web scraping, data extraction tools, or automation scripting using Python
  • Familiarity with ML concepts and practical application of AI/LLM tools in a business context
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for data quality and operational detail Experience in the financial data or business intelligence domain

Language Skills

  • Fluency in English - strong written and verbal skills

Remuneration

  • Pay will be commensurate with education and experience
