Job Description
Overview
We are looking for a motivated and organized Project Management Intern to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of software projects. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build practical experience in project management and understand how software products are planned, developed, and delivered.
You will work closely with Project Managers, developers, designers, clients, and other stakeholders. You will help coordinate project activities, track progress, maintain documentation, communicate updates, and support the team in delivering projects successfully.
The ideal candidate should have a strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in software products and project management.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in planning and coordinating software projects.
- Support the creation and maintenance of project plans, timelines, milestones, and task lists.
- Help track project progress and follow up on pending tasks and deliverables.
- Coordinate with developers, designers, management, and other team members to ensure project activities remain aligned.
- Assist in communicating project updates, deadlines, and important information to team members and stakeholders.
- Attend project meetings and maintain meeting notes, action items, and decisions.
- Help identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delays, and escalate them to the Project Manager when necessary.
- Assist with resource planning and tracking to support project delivery.
- Help maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, requirements, and other project-related documents.
- Support the Project Manager in understanding client requirements and translating them into clear tasks or objectives.
- Follow up with team members to ensure assigned tasks are progressing as planned.
- Assist in preparing project status reports and presentations.
- Contribute ideas for improving project management processes and team collaboration.
- Learn and apply project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
- Support the team in ensuring projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality expectations.
- Gradually take ownership of smaller project activities as skills and experience develop.
