Join Our Infrastructure Engineering Team

Cyrus Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. is seeking a skilled and motivated Server Hardware Engineer to join our enterprise infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in server hardware installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and data center operations, with exposure to enterprise platforms such as Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, and Lenovo ThinkSystem servers.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working with enterprise hardware, solving complex infrastructure issues, and supporting mission critical IT environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise servers and hardware infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot server hardware issues and perform component replacements.
  • Perform server firmware upgrades, BIOS updates, and hardware lifecycle management.
  • Support server deployment, migration, and hardware upgrade projects.
  • Perform on-site customer support and emergency hardware replacement when required.
  • Collaborate with network, cloud, and system engineers to resolve infrastructure issues.
  • Support Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, and other server platforms.
  • Perform server upgrades, preventive maintenance, and health checks.
  • Provide on-site technical support and maintain service documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in server hardware support.
  • Experience with Dell / HP enterprise servers.
  • Experience with Dell / HP enterprise storages.
  • Good knowledge of server components, RAID, storage, and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience troubleshooting server hardware failures and component replacement.
  • Knowledge of data center practices, rack installation, and structured cabling.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VLAN, Ethernet).
  • Experience working with Windows Server and Linux environments is an advantages
