Software Engineer - Application Technology (Workday Integrations)

The Role

  • Project Driven: Participate in ongoing project work and take the lead on design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base. Provide recommendations for the project as needed.
  • Requirements Collection: Gather, build, test, and document requirements for integrations with Workday HCM.
  • Production Support: Provide support and troubleshooting for existing/new integrations between the Workday product and other systems (outside carriers, outside vendors, internal systems and Datawarehouse).
  • Troubleshooting: Handle HR related Workday support tickets via Service Now. Partner with customers to assess the scope of the request and determine estimated timeframe needed to complete.
  • Research and Development: Innovate and introduce new products and services using Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIB's, Report Writer (BIRT). Core Connectors and Workday Extend.

The Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
  • Saas/Cloud HCM or HRIS implementation experience.
  • Previous coding experience using XML, XSLT, Web Services, JSON, JavaScript and Java.
  • Good knowledge in resolving complex XSLT Itogics.
  • Experience with Workday Implementation would be an added advantage.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple business and Tech teams to accomplish common end goals.
