Senior Software Developer (Desktop Applications)

Great software doesn't just run in the background - it keeps critical operations moving. At BISTEC Global, our engineers support and enhance a suite of desktop applications for a global client, handling everything from operational planning to scheduling. We're looking for a senior developer who's as comfortable in the code as they are with the customers who depend on it.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience
  • Strong experience with C# and .NET, and C++ development and maintenance
  • Experience with WinForms and/or WPF, and SQL databases (ideally SQLite)
  • Skilled in automated testing, source control, CI/CD, and release management
  • Excellent communication and customer-facing skills, with strong troubleshooting ability
  • APIs, legacy/Fortran exposure, or experience in complex operational domains are valued bonuses

What You'll Do

  • Build - enhance and maintain a suite of C#/.NET and C++ desktop applications for a global client
  • Support - investigate and resolve issues in business-critical, live software systems
  • Engage - work directly with customers to gather requirements and translate operational needs into software solutions
  • Balance - manage multiple priorities across support, maintenance, and new development
