Intern – QA Engineer

Job Description

BISTEC is looking for a motivated Intern QA Engineer to learn and grow within our quality assurance team, gaining hands-on experience across software testing, automation, and modern QA practices.

What You'll Do

• Support the QA team with AI based & Automation testing of software applications and features.
• Learn and apply software testing concepts and QA standards on real projects.
• Assist with test case creation, execution, and defect logging.
• Get exposure to test automation tools and programming as part of the QA workflow.
• Explore AI tools and technologies applied to software testing.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute within a cross-functional team.
• Support day-to-day QA tasks using MS Office and other team tools.

What You'll Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in IT, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA standards.
• Knowledge of test automation tools or programming is an added advantage.
• Basic awareness or interest in AI tools and technologies in software testing is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Strong computer literacy, including MS Office tools.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points

• Exposure to test automation frameworks or scripting languages.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools.
• Prior internship or project experience in a software team.
