Delphi Developer

BISTEC Global Services    Remote • Full-time

We're looking for an experienced Delphi Developer to maintain and enhance a suite of desktop applications, working across legacy systems and SQL databases to keep critical software running smoothly.

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and enhance desktop applications built in Delphi.
  • Work with legacy systems to implement enhancements and resolve defects.
  • Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL database integrations (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
  • Debug and resolve performance issues across live, business-critical applications.
  • Collaborate with the team to plan and deliver software improvements.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Delphi development.
  • Strong experience developing and maintaining desktop applications.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL databases (MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
  • Experience with legacy system maintenance, enhancements, and bug fixing.
  • Good understanding of software design, debugging, and performance optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with API integrations or third-party service consumption is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/SVN) is beneficial.
  • Prior experience in regulated or operationally critical software domains is a plus.
