IT Network and CCTV Engineers

Job Description

We are looking for qualified CCTV and Network hardware engineers to install, maintain and repair CCTV and Network components. You will be the one to ensure that adequate IT infrastructure is in place and is used to its maximum capabilities. As a network engineer you must be well-versed in computer network systems and CCTV network functions.

Key Responsibilities 

• Set up hardware and install and configure CCTV and network systems. (Active / Passive)
• Maintain and repair technological equipment.
• Troubleshoot CCTV and network hardware/system failures and provide solutions to restore functionality.
• Good knowledge of repairing and replacing CCTV and NVR/DVR systems.
• Must have good knowledge and understanding of camera system installation, troubleshooting, Mobile App Configuration, IP Camera.
• Perform network cabling, rack mounting, and hardware setup.
• Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues.
• Support LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi environments.
• Implementing computer networks, designing, and maintaining client systems.Keep records of repairs and fixes for future reference.

Requirments and skills 

• Higher diploma in computer network engineering or equivalent with Professional certifications in IT
• Knowledge of structured cabling, VLANs, and basic networking
• NVQ Level above 2 & hand on one year experience an additional advantage. (CCTV-IP / Analog / Network/ PABX / Access Control)
• 1–3 years of experience in network hardware or IT support
• Good communication skills in English both spoken and written (Sinhala) Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability work long hours
• Candidate should be residing within kurunagala city limits.
• Driving license for Motorbikes (Advantage)
