We’re Hiring: Associate QA Lead (Manual Testing + AI-Assisted Testing)

  • Location: Sri Lanka (onsite)
  • Experience: 2-5+ Years

Are you passionate about delivering high-quality software and excited about the future of AI in Quality Assurance? We’re looking for an Associate QA Lead to join our growing team and lead quality initiatives across modern web and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor the QA team in day-to-day testing activities.
  • Create and execute manual test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UAT, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and sprint planning.
  • Ensure product quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Drive continuous improvements in QA processes and standards.
  • Utilize AI tools to generate test cases, analyze defects, and improve testing efficiency.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong expertise in Manual Testing.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • API testing experience using Postman.
  • Basic SQL/database validation knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

AI Testing Skills (Preferred)

Experience with one or more of the following:

  • ChatGPT
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Testim AI
  • KaneAI
  • Functionize
  • TestRigor
  • Applitools AI
  • BrowserStack AI Testing

Nice to Have

  • Automation testing knowledge (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium).
  • ISTQB Certification.
