ITX Digital Services (PVT) LTD is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer Intern (Trainee) to join our growing software development team in Athurugiriya.

This internship is an excellent opportunity for undergraduate students who are passionate about software development and eager to gain hands-on industry experience by working on real-world client projects. You will collaborate with experienced developers, designers, and project managers while learning modern development practices, coding standards, and professional workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of web applications.
  • Develop responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Support back-end development using PHP, Node.js, Laravel, or similar technologies.
  • Work with relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement user-friendly interfaces.
  • Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
  • Participate in application deployment, maintenance, and version control processes.
  • Learn and follow software development best practices and coding standards.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Basic knowledge of front-end web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Familiarity with PHP, Node.js, Laravel, or another back-end programming language.
  • Basic understanding of MySQL or other relational databases.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems is an advantage.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and continuously improve technical skills.
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
  • A GitHub profile, portfolio, or academic software projects will be considered an added advantage.
  • Applicants residing in or able to commute to Athurugiriya are preferred.
