Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong focus on Test Automation and Playwright to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation frameworks, along with sold experience in API validation, database testing and manual testing and the ability to mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate closely with development teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (proferred)/Selenium.
  • Perform requirement analysis, test planning, scripting, and execution
  • Ensure software quality through QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks in Java and/or Spring Boot
  • Conduct API testing using Rest Assured and validate data in Mongoba
  • Utilize Eclipse IDE for test development and debugging
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication teamwork, and critical thinking
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and analytical skills to identify defects and improve test coverage.
  • Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
  • Develop detailed comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Prioritize and plan testing activities
  • Play the role of best engineer: Design, develop, and execute tests
  • Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
  • Track defects and helps troubleshoot errors.
  • Perform regression testing

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Playwright (preferred) and Selenium for building automation frameworks.
  • Strong experience in manual testing of web and enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on expertise in API testing (REST/SOAP)
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and database testing techniques.
  • Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (cit)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
