Project Manager - Odoo ERP Implementation

Special Requirements

• Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP implementation.
• Proven project management experience.
• An accounting qualification — CA, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, CMA, or a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Odoo ERP projects from kickoff and requirements gathering through configuration, testing, training, go-live, and handover.
• Prepare and maintain project plans, milestones, budgets, resource allocations, and delivery schedules.
• Lead functional consultants, developers, and implementation teams with clear responsibilities and targets.
• Review business requirements, process mapping, gap analyses, and functional specifications.
• Apply accounting knowledge to oversee financial workflows, opening balances, data migration, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor project progress, team performance, risks, dependencies, and outstanding tasks.
• Manage project scope and change requests, including their impact on cost and timelines.
• Coordinate with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain clear communication.
• Organize progress meetings and maintain accurate minutes, action items, and status reports.
• Coordinate UAT, customer approvals, go-live readiness, and project acceptance.
• Ensure complete documentation and a structured handover to the support team.
• Coach team members and improve implementation practices.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing Odoo ERP implementations and delivering agreed project outcomes.
• Accounting qualification with a strong understanding of financial processes and controls.
• Good knowledge of Odoo business workflows across Accounting, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
• Proven ability to manage teams, allocate workloads, resolve conflicts, and monitor performance.
• Strong planning, analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and customer expectations.
• Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, or an equivalent qualification is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and implementation activities.
