Intern – Project Manager

EXE.lk is looking for a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Intern – Project Manager. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is interested in software project management and wants hands-on experience working with development teams, clients, and real-world software projects.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Trello, or similar tools is an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking software projects.
  • Support project managers in maintaining project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate tasks between development, design, QA, and other project teams.
  • Assist with client communication and prepare project updates.
  • Maintain project documentation and update project management tools.
  • Monitor project progress and highlight potential risks, blockers, and delays.
  • Participate in daily meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
