We’re Hiring: Associate Engineer / Engineer – Data Science & Artificial Intelligence
- Contract Type: 1-Year Contract
- Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize ML models for classification, regression, clustering, forecasting, and anomaly detection
- Build and deploy Deep Learning models using TensorFlow/PyTorch
- Work with LLMs/SLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and model serving
- Develop and maintain MLOps/LLMOps pipelines, including training, versioning, CI/CD, deployment, and lifecycle management
- Implement model monitoring, drift detection, performance, latency, bias, and cost monitoring
- Apply AIOps techniques to operational and telemetry data
- Develop secure and scalable APIs to integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications
- Collaborate with Data Engineering teams on data preparation and feature engineering
- Conduct model validation, experimentation, benchmarking, and reproducibility
- Contribute to technical architecture, design documentation, and engineering best practices
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Data Science or ML Engineering
- Strong Python skills and experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, TensorFlow, NumPy, and pandas
- Experience developing and deploying production-grade ML models
- Knowledge of MLflow, Kubeflow, Vertex AI, SageMaker, or similar MLOps platforms
- Exposure to LLMOps, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt engineering
- Experience with APIs, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, model lifecycle management, and CI/CD
- Knowledge of time-series analysis, anomaly detection, and telemetry data
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Comfortable working in Agile, cross-functional teams with an engineering-first mindset
