Intern – System Engineer

We're hiring an Intern – System Engineer. You'll get hands-on with Linux & Windows infrastructure, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, networking, and CI/CD — supervised, but genuinely doing the work.

Your Role

  • Assist with Linux & Windows servers, Azure VMs, and infrastructure services.
  • Perform daily health checks, monitor systems, and escalate issue alerts.
  • Assist with user access management in Microsoft 365/Entra ID.
  • Support basic networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall tasks under supervision.
  • Verify scheduled backups, storage utilization, and basic disaster-recovery tests.
  • Help maintain web servers, databases, Docker services, and CI/CD deployments.

Requirements

  • Recently completed HND or Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Previous industry experience is not required; hands-on academic/home lab projects are an advantage.
  • Foundational knowledge of Linux/Windows, networking concepts, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic familiarity with Azure, Microsoft 365, DNS, Docker, Git, or scripting (Bash/PowerShell/ Python).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and willingness to learn.
  • Entry-level certifications (AZ-900, CCNA, Linux fundamentals) are a plus.
