Software Engineer Intern

Neon Labz (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer Intern to join our development team in Kokuvil, Jaffna. This is an excellent opportunity for an undergraduate, recent graduate, or HND/Diploma holder to gain hands-on experience working on real-world software and digital solutions.

Qualifications:

• Undergraduate, recent graduate, or HND/Diploma holder in Information Technology, ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js / Next.js, Tailwind CSS, NestJS, MongoDB, Laravel, and Spring Boot.
• Understanding of REST API development.
• Knowledge of Git & GitHub workflow or Bitbucket.
• Good problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Strong willingness to learn, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications.
• Work with frontend and backend technologies.
• Assist with REST API development and integration.
• Work with databases and backend services.
• Participate in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Use Git/GitHub or Bitbucket for version control and team collaboration.
• Collaborate with team members on assigned software projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and follow established development practices.

Technologies:

Next.js, Tailwind CSS, NestJS, MongoDB, Laravel, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Git & GitHub / Bitbucket.
