Intern – Quality Assurance (QA)

Job Description

Olee AI is hiring a QA Intern to join our engineering team in Malabe. We build production-grade AI systems for businesses in Sri Lanka, and you'll be testing them for real, writing test cases, running functional and regression tests, logging bugs, and learning how to test AI agents, which behave differently from ordinary software. We're looking for someone studying or recently graduated in CS, SE, or IT, with sharp attention to detail and genuine curiosity about AI.

What you'll do

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or a related field
• A basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and QA fundamentals
• Strong attention to detail, the instinct to notice when something is slightly off
• Clear written communication; a good bug report is mostly good writing
• Genuine interest in building a career in quality assurance
• Willingness to ask questions and learn quickly

What we're looking for

• Write and execute test cases based on requirements and design specifications
• Carry out functional, regression, and smoke testing on web and mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps
• Work with developers to verify fixes and close out defects
• Maintain test documentation and keep test cases current as the product evolves
• Take part in sprint ceremonies, standups, and release checks
• Get exposure to test automation and API testing as you grow into the role
• Familiarity with tools like Postman, JIRA, Selenium, or JMeter
