Quality Assurance Internship

What You’ll Do

  • Test Portal’s Android/iOS mobile applications and web platforms
  • Perform manual, functional, exploratory, smoke, and regression testing
  • Test backend APIs using tools such as Postman and Swagger
  • Write and maintain clear test cases and testing checklists
  • Identify, document, and track bugs
  • Include reproduction steps, expected results, actual results, screenshots, and screen recordings in bug reports
  • Retest resolved issues and verify bug fixes
  • Test applications across different devices, browsers, and screen sizes
  • Work closely with mobile, web, backend, and product teams
  • Provide feedback about product quality and user experience
  • Learn and follow modern QA practices and workflows

What We’re Looking For

  • Basic understanding of software testing and quality assurance
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in testing mobile apps, web applications, and backend APIs
  • Basic familiarity with test cases and bug reporting
  • Ability to communicate issues clearly in written English
  • Willingness to perform repeated testing and regression checks
  • Ability to work collaboratively and accept feedback
  • Willingness to learn new tools and technologies
  • Access to a computer and at least one mobile device for testing

Added Advantages

Experience with the following is helpful but not required:

  • Postman or Swagger
  • Jira, Trello, GitHub Issues, or another bug tracking tool
  • Browser Developer Tools
  • Android and iOS application testing
  • REST API testing
  • Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel

  • Basic database knowledge
  • Automated testing concepts
