Associate Software Engineer - Next.js (Full Stack)

About the Role

We are looking for a highly capable and driven Associate Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join our team. You will be taking ownership of both frontend and backend tasks, building scalable applications with a primary focus on the JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.

What You Will Do

• Develop, maintain, and optimize full-stack web applications using Next.js and Node.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for both client-side and server-side logic.
• Collaborate with the team to design and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software systems.
• Bridge the gap between frontend interfaces and backend APIs seamlessly.

What You Must Have (Core Requirements)

• Experience: At least 1 year of professional industry experience OR extensive, high-quality freelance project development experience. (You must be able to showcase real-world projects you have successfully delivered).
• Frontend: Strong hands-on experience with Next.js (Mandatory). You should understand server-side rendering, routing, and performance optimization.
• Backend: Solid proficiency in Node.js for building RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Database: Experience working with modern databases (SQL or NoSQL).
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

Nice to Have (Bonus Points)

While our core stack revolves around Next.js and Node.js, we appreciate engineers with a strong foundation in core software engineering principles. It’s a bonus if you have exposure to:

• Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID design principles.
• Background knowledge in Java or strictly typed backend languages.
• An understanding of Microservices architecture.
