IFS HR Consultant

About the Role:

Xitricon is a consulting, technology, and digital transformation services company headquartered in Dubai, UAE.

We are seeking an ERP HR Consultant with practical experience in ERP systems and HR processes. This role is suited for a mid-level professional who can support implementation, upgrade, and support projects with moderate independence while working closely with customers, senior consultants, and internal teams. The successful candidate will gain exposure to the latest IFS versions, including Aurena and IFS Cloud, as well as other emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and execute implementation activities for ERP applications, with a focus on the IFS HR module.
  • Contribute to IFS upgrades and implementation projects across customer environments.
  • Gather requirements, document business processes, and support solution configuration under project guidance.
  • Prepare guides, training materials, and support notes.
  • Coordinate with technical teams on report generation, integrations, issue resolution, and related technical activities.
  • Support testing activities, including test scenario preparation, user acceptance testing, defect tracking, and issue follow-up.
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and delivery activities while taking ownership of assigned workstreams.

Mid-Level Skills

  • Working knowledge of ERP concepts, HR workflows, and business process mapping.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, document, and clarify user requirements with limited supervision.
  • Practical understanding of HR processes such as employee records, leave management, payroll inputs, time attendance, and onboarding workflows.
  • Ability to support ERP configuration, data validation, testing, and post-go-live support activities.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate issues, propose practical solutions, and escalate when required.
  • Ability to prepare test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, document results, and follow up on defects.
  • Strong attention to detail when maintaining documentation, configuration notes, user guides, and support logs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to build deeper expertise in IFS HR, IFS Cloud, reporting tools, and related ERP technologies.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in ERP, HR systems, business applications, or application support.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, human resources, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on exposure to ERP implementation, upgrade, rollout, or support projects.
    Good understanding of payroll, time management, leave management, employee master data, or HR business processes.
  • Familiarity with IFS Applications, IFS Cloud, SuccessFactors, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms is preferred.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into clear documentation, action points, configuration inputs, or support tickets.
  • Good verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with senior consultants and project teams.
  • Strong learning mindset, attention to detail, teamwork skills, and ownership of deliverables.
  • Ability and willingness to travel on-site for short-term, mid-term, or long-term assignments.
